Fabric Methods

Fabric / MaterialPreferred MethodRisk / WisdomProvider Action

Cotton Laundry or wet clean Can handle stronger cleaning but watch shrinkage, dye bleed, rust, ink and set stains. Inspect, document, test if needed and choose the safest process.
Linen Laundry / wet clean / dry clean depending construction Wrinkles heavily, can shrink, can distort. Pressing skill matters. Inspect, document, test if needed and choose the safest process.

Sequins / Beading Trim-risk assessment Glue, colour, coating and attachment threads can fail in cleaning. Inspect, document, test if needed and choose the safest process.

Care label warning

A care label guides the process, but does not tell the full story. Trims, glue, age, wear and dye stability can override the simple label instruction.

Testing protects profit

A small test can prevent a large claim. Test colour, trim reaction, water marks and texture risk before full treatment.

Finish matters

Cleaning without correct finishing still looks poor. Pressing, steaming, reshaping and presentation complete the service.
