Dry cleaning process control

Dry cleaning is a controlled system, not just a machine cycle.

The dry cleaning result depends on inspection, classification, spotting, solvent condition, load size, cycle selection, drying, finishing and final checking.

Poor control can cause odour, greying, redeposition, shrinkage, shine, colour movement, trim damage, missed stains or customer dissatisfaction.

Management must monitor solvent quality, filter systems, load discipline, staff training and quality records.
